This could be a VERY long party!
12 days? :lol:

But if I Remember correctly there was a long build up to last year's tropical party and the actual day was very quiet.

Me too. Believe it or not the Aldi one is really good.
I tried to buy you all some presents in Aldi this afternoon but they
called the police when I offered to pay in virtual money. :)

I was arrested but when they saw how virtuous I am in reality(!) they
let me go.

Bar wise, I'm working my way through a bottle of Sherry at the moment so I think I will need more supplies before the big day. Perhaps a bottle of Port as well :D
Dog will just want fresh spring water :)
Are we bringing stockings to hang, or are any of us on the naughty list?

No Albert, not those stockings and not that kind of naughty!!!!
Albert seems like a naughty boy after my own heart, rhymes with F*** and boy do they make I laugh. Never growed up see.

So tired so off to beddy byes night campers.....................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
What do people want to do for our virtual Christmas breakfast?
I'd usually opt for chocolate (lots of) (but feel I should be more grown up these days) but a stay with friends 'up north' a few years ago introduced us to pork pie. Is this a known tradition?
What do others like?
I always have maltesers for my Christmas breakfast and I absolutely refuse to grow out of that Christmas family tradition along with the mandatory buttons Easter egg with another bigger one to accompany it.

It was me wanted to share your Tribute Pete. One of my favourites. Or we could nip out to the Red Lion in Boldre and see what they've got by Wychwood, a local brewery who make excellent drinks. If we're staying for 12 days we'll have plenty of time. And that's a nice short walk that ends up by the river.
Or perhaps we could do the 12 pubs of Christmas. I can easily think of 12 forest pubs I could recommend. I"m thinking of them now in fact. I once got a bad reputation for being able to locate myself through the forest by it's pubs.
