very proud of son

Son got a telephone call this morning from some high up bod at the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. Son has been nominated as Campaigner of the Year and is to go to their annual conference at Clydebank a week this Saturday to collect his award. Its for all the work he has done with his What About Us campaign. Totally out of the blue and at first he wasn't going to go and collect it as Scotland are playing Croatia and he's applied for tickets!!!! His dad and I pointed out that it isn't every day you get an award so he is just going to watch the game on the telly instead and go and collect his award. Proud mum/dad moment and photographs will be taken by us wether he likes it or not!
