I would be lost without the internet;
- it means I can have cyber social contact and support at any hour and it fits around caring
- I can cyber shop (thank goodness, as S can't cope with the sensory overload in supermarkets and my arthritis makes pushing and steering a supermarket trolley painful.)
- surfing the internet and Youtube keeps S occupied for awhile
- information is readily available
I don't do FB, twitter etc but I value my forums (especially this one,) keep in email contact with family and friends and use Skype occasionally. I would be lost without it. It doesn't replace meeting up with friends face to face, but I'm limited when I can do that, whereas I can use the internet anytime.
