So, Smart Meters are promoted as reducing energy bills. Of what I have read online, the roll out of Smart Meters are factored into energy bills. Do Smart Meters actually reduce energy bills, and to what %? Energy is a necessity, not a luxury.

Smart meters don't reduce bills. The monitor makes you aware of how much you are using. ie the kettle boiling shoots the dial to red. Was interesting when had mine, but the monitor stopped working and British gas couldn't replace during covid.. I like that
I dont need to read the meters now. My take on smart meters anyway
