Gilli, Son is off to Uni, doing Drama/Creative writing combined honours, he then wants to do his teacher training Image

Youngest did very well in her GCSE's , she starts college next week.
So proud of my 3 kids, they put up with loads at home, but have still done well in their studies.
They help out and let me a have a break, they are polite, very kind, considerate and respectful, but best of all, whatever happens, we always have a laugh together Image
That's lovely, Sturdygirl, that your children have all done so well. I wish your son all the very best in his chosen career. What is your daughter studying at college? Best wishes to her too. Are they both still living at home or have they set up home nearer to uni and college?
Today I received the good news that my friend who is having chemo is doing really well - consultant very pleased with progress. Joe and I were in the same class in primary school
Thanks Gilli, Youngest is doing 4 'A' levels, - Geography, Archeology, Biology & Psychology, my other DD is doing Travel & Tourism, both girls are still at home, but hope to go to Uni when college ends.
Son gets the keys to his flat on Friday, all go at the min!

I haven't been yet Gilli. Going at the end of this month.Guilt still there but I am looking forward to the break.
Nice things the last couple of days. My 3 year old grandson started school in the mornings last week. He has been diagnosed with autism in the holidays and we didn't know how he would settle, but he seems to be doing well. When he comes back to our house at lunchtime,he and his 9 month old brother have been almost "flirting" with each other, their smiles saying " I missed you.Glad to be with you again." They don't have eyes for any of the rest of us for five minutes or so, they have to look at each other Image Image .
Hope you get/got away ok. Just heading off myself with hubby for the weekend. Overnight boat to and from Birkenhead. The joy is my 2 boys here can look after themselves for the weekend.

DD brought home a 3 pack of ferrero rocher for me Image
Mmmm, my favourites, she knows how to cheer me up Image
ah yes, Fererro Rocher would cheer anyone I think. Image
DD strikes again! Image
She has informed me that she is taking me out for the day next Saturday, won't tell me where but I need to dress warm with comfy shoes! Image
I know it involves a coach trip, so I'm guessing a Christmas market maybe?? Image
She has even sorted out Hubs, making sure someone is home with him.
So thoughtful bless her Image
