I care about my grandma, she's very restless, wants to go shopping alone, and so on. But it's very hard for her to walk for a long time. I made a decision to buy her mobility scooter. I found a review https://www.seniorfitness.net/best-electric-wheelchair/ but still don't know. Maybe you or the people you care for used these scooters, please, share the benefits and drawbacks.
Hi Cassy

The link you provided is an American site which offers machines that are not generally available in the UK, where this forum and its users are based. Personally, if you really want to know about different models, your best bet is to go to a store offering mobility scooters and see which one suits your gran best. There's nothing like trying it for size.
Has grandma ever had a driving licence? Mentally good?
In my town certain mobility scooter drivers were a menace. One man drove down the pavement too fast expecting people to get out of the way! An old lady, deliberately rammed my ankles in Waitrose when we were in a checkout queue. When I complained to her she said she'd keep doing it unless I moved forward! The customer in front of me was still packing. She had a terrible death, when she drove in front of a Tesco lorry in a line of traffic queuing. The driver didn't see her, not his fault, but terrible for him.
Thank you! Yes, she's mentally good, and sorry to hear that you've been in such situation.

Consider a wheelchair as well.
