My son, then about 4, asked his grandad where his dad was. Dad said his dad was dead and on being asked why, said it was because his dad had been very old. Son considered this and then asked Dad why he wasn't dead yet then!
Dad, then about 58, was NOT amused:lol: Image Image
my niece (aged about 5) about Grandad's lack of hair:

"Papa's got no hair 'cos he's got too many brains, they've pushed all his hair out"
Samantha when she was very young sat on top Colette's pram as we were walking into the village.

"Mummy what's a whore?" Image
Ignored her!
"Mummy, what's a whore?" Image
Ignored her again!

Samantha now shouting at me because I had obviously not heard!
"Mummy what's a whore?"
"I don't know Samantha" (hoping that this would suffice.....)

Had to laugh at that comment GaryO, which reminds me of when my mum and dad were walking round a market with my nephew who was 3 at the time,
My dad stopped to buy some Bird food and bought some fat balls,
then my nephew; without realising what he was saying; ran to his Nana who was a few yards away shouting really loud as he ran,

"Nannie. Grandad's got fat balls!",

my dad was very embarrassed, and all he could say was, "Ssssssssshhhhhhh"!!
Grandson to his mum, on her explaining about grandad:-
"How can grandadMark's wheelchair fit into the box?"

'GrandadMark's asleep now, he doesn't need his wheelchair with him', says daughter.

"So if he doesn't need his wheelchair with him, does that mean that grandadMark can walk again when he wakes up?"

Daughter said, yes, he probably can .................

years ago when my daughter was little we lost a set of keys. My husband and I spent days looking for them to no avail.
Then one evening while we were sitting down for dinner, I said to my husband "I wish I knew where those keys have gone".
A little voice piped up from her high chair "there're in the plant pot' , and they were !!
