Pretty ... but for how long ?

Greenland ... and those disappearing ice glaciers.

10C / 50F ... for a few hours on several days ... below 0C / 32F for most of the year.

I deviate ... Eastbourne , last night ... thunderstorms ... worth it ?

Some 1,000 lightning strikes illuminated the skies above Eastbourne as torrential rain and thunderstorms lashed part of the UK overnight.

Brilliant photo ! I know the location well
A few months ago I had to have computer repaired and it came back with newer version of windows. Before I sign in I am giving a new picture each day now of various beautiful spots across the globe. Some of them are tremendous, and make me wish to be there.

Todays is a scenic place in Switzerland. Never been but it reminded me of some great holidays with hubby in Austria.

Photos of our manors ?

Not before the watershed , me thinks ?

Part of our thriving high street , perhaps ?

Another view ... slightly more common for the main part of the high street ?

Me ... a mere 200 yards or so from all the action ... thankfully !
Ours is nothing like the thriving shopping centre it once was. You could literally get anything and everything. Now you must go further afield.

One of those cheap shoe shops left, never been in it. Cobbler died a few yrs ago, had been there as far back as I can remember. Noone else took it over. Now a Turkish barbers which we did use a lot when Sean was unable to shave himself. I have to say they were brilliant with him over the space of about 3 yrs. As his Alz got worse their patience increased. They always give him something to bring home too, from oils for scalps to the old fashioned shaving brush. I couldn't believe it when daughter told me at a later date the brush was £20 to buy.

Anyways Chris, before I 'moderate' myself  ;) , lets keep your photo topic on track lol
