How exciting.

Can you crotchet? I find it easier than knitting?

I care for S, who is now 29!! (I have cared for him since he was 9.) He has classic autism, epilepsy, IBS & sensory modulation difficulties. When he is anxious his behaviour can be challenging, he communicates using a Dynavox.

Hi Melly

I can't crochet or knit. All of my sisters and mum could knit and crochet , but I couldn't , we think it was something to do with me being left handed. Mum tried to teach me and so did my sisters , but it didn't work....or maybe it is because I am dumb as soup

Yes Tilly. We came across a 'Grandma Book' which had suggestions on each page which included photos and ideas of writing what life was like when we grew up. Going to school, what games we played, family life etc. I typed my ideas on A4 paper and inserted the sheets in envelopes with separate headings on each one.
