Doesn't it make you mad...

Tony has just been writing on a local forum about something or other and someone came back and wrote paragraphs about how he had made a spelling mistake! just drives me mad when people can be so judgemental and make assumptions about someone simply because something they have written or said.

OK, I have the qualifications from school but to be honest I am never likely to have the experience (or want them actually in some cases), responsibility or knowledge of certain aspects of life that Tony has. He has done and achieved things that no amount of GCSE's, o levels or whatever will ever come close to.

Rant over....for now!

Oh, that happens a lot on some forums Bell Image Take no notice if theyve got nothing better to do.
I had someone PM me (not here) telling me off about my lack of capitals and apostrophes Image
I PMed them back and told them it was a feature of my posts Image

I'm just pleased for them that they have nothing else to worry about in their lives, but wish they would get a life!
We love you Tony! Image

I do hate spelling mistakes, especially my own, but I don't think I would pull someone up on a computer forum about theirs. Hope I've not done it on here, maybe for a glaring joke, but not seriously to get at that person.
Just the way I've been taught secretarial skills at school and work, never send a letter out with a spelling mistake, either in their name and address or in the content.

Spelling was one of my better points at school, often coming top out of 23 boys in our weekly spelling 'B'.
I hate to make mistakes with my own spelling, but would never presume to know better about anyone elses spelling.
I have to use my spell check often on here as I have long since lost the knack for spelling.
