dangers of football spectating

Husband, son and brother went to Firhill last night to watch the Partick Thistle v Morton game. The Morton team were having a kickabout before the game started and one of them booted the ball into the crowd (accidentally) the ball bounced off the wall and then rebounded hitting my husband in the face and forcing his glasses into his eyelid (luckily it missed the eyeball itself). Hubby had blood pouring down his face and now has a lovely keeker today and I took his glasses to the optician to be fixed. So the moral is watch where you stand when you go to the footie!

Hubby is feeling a bit better today although he has a lovely black eye. We go to a lovely wee local optician and he straightened Rob srs glasses for free. They are about 10 years old or so and its ones he usually keeps as a spare pair.
