I am pleased for your daughter.

But I can see how the other flat would have worked out well location wise. But a house will be lovely.

Will social services be putting in a support package so you don't have to continue to provide so much support?

I think you are right, there will be a lot of ferrying around!

Penny, NOT your job to ferry them about when they move. Time for SSD to do a PROPER needs assessment and include support to access shops, services etc.

Oh wow, i didn’t think about that! I will wait to see if they definitely get the house and then get on to social worker.

Thanks as always Bowlingbun. You are a superstar. While her boyfriend is still on furlough they can get by as he has a car and they will be able to get out. Once he is back at work it will be a different matter and will be a very long day for her all alone.

Aw thanks Cloudygal.

They have had their lengthy phone interview this afternoon and the house is theirs if they decide after they have viewed it. We drove over the other evening and it’s a really nice development of private, shared ownership and housing association homes but we couldn’t get down their road as the builders fence it all off at night. They can view it in the next fortnight. It’s just a one bed house with garden and parking space but will hopefully be just what they want.
