Due to Covid this country is now in an enormous amount of debt as we are all aware.
I have read about David Cameron complaining as to how Foreign Aid cut is a very sad moment for Britain!
Also the The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby said it was "shameful and wrong", while former prime minister David Cameron said he "deeply regrets" the decision.
It also prompted Baroness Sugg, a Foreign Office minister, to quit her role in protest.
If these people were affected like the poor, then they would cry the loudest of all. If they don't like it, then maybe they could pay it back from their own wages, as it is these people who can afford to pay back the debt!
We have had 10 years of austerity, which has left families unable to buy food and struggle to make ends meet. However it is the poorest workers and people in this country, that have been hit the hardest by austerity. How can the poor cope with more cuts!
Charity begins at home and it is about time we used tax payers money to help our own first and deal with all of the problems we have here like housing, social care etc.... and all of the other problems that we face daily that DO NOT affect the people at the top.
Why is it that people who run the country have no common sense!
