Well I have made them this morning and here is the proof, good job I took a photo as half have just about gone what with mother and the neighbours, oh and of course me.
I forgot how crispy they are but taste wonderful.
Crocus here is the recipe for you:
ANZAC Biscuits
125gms Flour (gluten free if required)
150gms Sugar
1 cup Coconut
1 cup Rolled Oats
100gms Butter
1 tblsp Golden Syrup
1/2 tspn Bicarb Soda
2 tblsp Boiling Water
Mix together flour, sugar, coconut and rolled oats. Melt butter and golden syrup. Dissolve bicarb soda in the boiling water and add to butter and golden syrup mixture. Make a well in the dry ingredients and add liquids. Place spoonfuls on greased tray and bake 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees C (350 d F) or gas mark 4.
Let me know how you get on with them
