We now have a bird feeding station outside the lounge window! So far the peanut feeder seems to have been the most popular with lots of Blue Tits and Great Tits. We often get a Nuthatch or two on the seed feeder, but not much else so far (he makes a great mess of it though, which helps the 'ground birds'!). I also have a third feeder with mealworms in. They look yuk and give me the creeps, but I guess the birds will like them - though haven't seen any eat those yet from the feeder. I have shaken a few worms (double yuk!) into one of the feeding trays and they have gone, but didn't see what had them. Once the worms have gone will try some pellets in that feeder. I guess we'll get more birds as it gets colder outside, as I guess they are still finding food naturally via plants/seeds still in gardens? There have also been magpies and pigeons milling around. No squirrels yet, but I guess that's just a matter of time!
