Hi all
Went to see these yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4538916/

However it deals with infidelity, bereavement, dementia and many of the other issues we face over 50....
At times I was tearful, , laughing, heartened
It's a bit of a sentimental roller coaster

Thought I should put it here as know it might be too close for some going though stuff currently so be careful, take tissues
I'm definitely going to check this film out. Nothing wrong with a bit of sentimentality, in moderation. I like the sound of the bohemian sis. I hope she shows stuffy sis how to have a good time and then some. I have a soft spot for Imelda Staunton.
And Celia Imrie is the Bohemian sis :) lovely casting.
Timothy Spall's performance stole it for me though
I was thinking of seeing it. Now you've advised that tissues will be needed I don't know whether I can? I've just cried all through call the midwife non stop.
Not for you Pet, not at the moment. There's some very sad scenes about a loved one in a Home which I think would set you off so much that you'd miss the rest of it.
I thought of you while watching it

Thank you Mrs A. I feel humbled that you thought of me.

If it's any consolation Pet, every woman I've spoken to this week cried at Call the Midwife on Sunday. That was 14 out of 16 at exercise class, the other 2 watched Endeavour :D

My 8year old grandson said to his mum, I don't know why you watch it, you KNOW you will cry! I tell myself I won't watch it anymore, but I do? Last week, however, it was almost uncontrollable sobbing. Been a rollercoaster week.
( Grandson doesn't watch it by the way, he's in his bedroom, reading to his dad, apparently Sunday night is dad's turn lol).
