Hello all
As someone who struggles with crochet I'm always impressed by it!

Couple of good sites I can recommend for knitting/crochet/sewing -

https://www.ravelry.com/account/login thousands of free patterns for knitting and crocheting and a really nice online community

https://thefoldline.com/ - this is a sewing site, again, lots of useful resources. They have a youtube channel as well.

Happy stitching!

Jane
I knit and crochet all the time. Currently knitting socks but recently finished a huge throw for a friend.

If somebody tells me how to add photos I will do so. Can’t be good at everything! 😂😂
Thanks for the links, Jane.

Penny,
Click on ‘upload attachment’ underneath your post and the 'save draft', 'review' and 'submit buttons'.
Click on 'add files' it’s a red button,
double click on the image saved on your computer.
Type a comment if you want to in the 'file comment ' box.
Click on 'place in line'
and click 'submit' to submit your post as usual.

I can only tell you how to do that on a Desktop PC, for a phone or a tablet or whatever you'll need someone else.

Scroll down to just below the reply box - click on "Upload attachment" - click on "Add Files" - that will open a window from where you can navigate your way to the pic on your PC - when you've found the pic - click on "Open" - wait for it to upload and then click on "Place Inline" - the pic will be inserted into the post wherever you left the cursor.

BTW, I didn't actually do that crochet, that was Gran-in-law.

there is nothing under my post at all that I can see. I am on my Ipad, does that make a difference?

It won't be under the post, it's below the reply box before you've posted.

Hi Penny
You have to open a new reply box - you can't add a photo to a post you've already made.

I rarely use my tablet as the majority of my photos are stored on my PC but I've just signed in on my Hudl (presume it basically works the same as an ipad). Using it "portrait" style I've open a new reply box and can see as follows -

underneath the reply box I can see the forum "smilies" and then a little further down there are the 3 options "save as draft"/"preview"/submit". Below those are two further actions - "Options" and "Upload Attachment". Click on "upload attachment" and you'll see "add files" click on that one and you should get a choice relating to where on your ipad your photos are stored. Click on the photo you want to add and the details will appear in the "add files" box (check that the "status" box is ticked) Click on "place inline" and the photo will be added where your cursor is. Click on "Preview" and you should see your message and photo - then click on "submit"

I've been carrying out the above alongside typing this - when I've posted this message I will post the one on my Hudl and, hopefully, it will have worked !
Just posted this from my Hudl using the above method

Hooray it worked :D
