No one has ever checked Robert's risk for pressure sores Charles. It seems to be the case that they avoid doing assessments so that they don't need to do anything about problems. This is the first thing we have asked for for many years and it seems to be a lot of buck passing in my opinion. As i say we will buy him a mattress of his own and they can shove their second hand mattress sideways where the sun don't shine. We will have a word with Rob's Consultant Neurologist next month and see what he says. He is usually pretty good at writing support letters etc. Don't know what we'll do when he takes early retirement next year as he won't be there to help me when I face losing my DLA in the changeover to PIP.

Well done Eun!

I returned all the aids to Equipu when they were no longer needed and I scrubbed everything well and then wiped over with dettol. Everything seemed to be new when it arrived and when it went back it was all "as new". I could never have shown my face outside if I had not returned everything in the best possible state.

It is disgraceful that young Rob cant have decent comfort from his specialist equipment and it most certainly should not be grotty.
