How many words can you make from the letters in the wheel? Each word must contain the hub letter A. Can you find a 9-letter word and at least 20 other words of five letters or more avoiding proper nouns?

Gosh, this ones hard
I can find lots of 4 letter words, but hardly any 5 letter ones. The letters dont fit well together and the words dont seem to lead on to others.

Lets just say that having seen the answers there is no way on this earth I would get some of them Like everything, you kick yourself for the ones that jump out at you once you do know the answers...
