It's awful how young carers get ignored. I know of a young lady who, since a child had looked after her mother and didn't even realise she WAS her carer! Just because it is done for love doesn't mean that the young carers can't have rights and a life to enjoy.

I'm amazed that you can't get a blue badge! It's right what Rosemary has said - although the rules are changing all the time. Try applying, Pixie - it's worth a try...if just to save hassle at the parking bays!

It would have been obvious to anyone that your wife was disabled and maybe it was the time to turn a blind eye, but I suppose he is taking it literally about having a blue badge. ...

I agree totally with Pix - diagnoses' are good - that's if they are right! lol...My eldest son was finally diagnosed not long ago with Aspergers. It doesn't change anything, but at least we know what we're fighting!
