A Carer on Carers Allowance doesn't need to be seen by ATOS.They are looking at people with disabilities.Perhaps you need to go to the C.A.B. for advice. Good luck. Been on phone to DWP again and they said that because of the benefit changes it could be because of that and they said to contact ATOS...

Why on earth have they sent a letter out to you, you claim CA, looks like they have nothing better to do now.

Exactly my point it will take me 2 hours to get there then however long i am there then another 2 hours back.

So I started claiming Income support and carers allowance after my job lost the funding for me and now have been sent a letter from ATOS saying i need to go for a medical assessment. Called up DWP and they said to talk to ATOS. Spoke to ATOS and they said talk to DWP.... *Pulling my hair out*

Sarah is 19 and her child benefit ceases in January next year, shes off to college for 2 years, Sarah is on DLA and so is hubby and hes also on pension credit

Most council have a discretionary housing payment that you may be able to get to make up the shortfall x
