<t>Thank you again everybody for your loving words. Today, of course was traumatic, but wonderfully, the sun was out and even felt warm! The funeral service was beautiful, arranged by myself and the two children. We played pieces of Brent's favourite music, I got up and spoke, so did my daughter. My...
Dear Poppett
Thank you for your kind and loving words. They are so much appreciated. The funeral service is on the 27th at 2pm. We are playing Brent's favourite pieces of music and the family getting up to speak about and remember Brent.
Thank you again my dear.

Sadly, my beloved Brent passed away on the 15th February 2013. Thankfully, he was at home, (where he wanted to be) and his going was very peaceful and calm. I'm missing him so much already.
Thank you everybody for your suggestions. I'll get onto the net and see if I can find something.
All the best to you
Charmian
<t>I know this sounds bizarre, but my "old man" suffers from COPD (emphysema). Because of his breathing difficulties, he is now allergic to all aerosol sprays (I can't even wear perfume any more, or hairspray, or Pledge spray, etc. etc). <br/> Do any of you know of any washing powders/liquids/gels t...
<t>Oh dear, I seemed to have upset others on this site. I did not mean, or intend, to upset anybody. My thoughts and comments were from the heart. I'm just a very ordinary wife and human being trying to come to terms with the loss of my darling husband (which I hope is not too soon). I apologise to ...
<t>I seemed to have opened a "can of worms" here with regard to palliative care. From what you are all saying, cancer care seems to get priority. I can understand that, because 5 years ago I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The hospital was amazing, with specialist "nurse/carers" seeing me every d...
<t>I really feel poppett and ladybird that you really understand what it is like to watch your loved one suffer. It breaks my heart every day to see my "old man" slipping away. He hasn't eaten for months (just the dreaded "Fortisip drinks" which he struggles to drink). He's lost so much weight.<br/>...
Thank you so much poppet and ladybird for your kind words. It's 10.35pm, so I'm going to try to get some sleep now.
<t>Well, kind friends, who have replied to me in the past. I'm a very intermittent visitor to this site. You all know what it's like being a carer. Long periods when you can't even get your hands on the keyboard to join in the conversations.<br/> My dear husband, (who has COPD), is now being entered...
