Chris, you cannot say with any degree of accuracy that no one has examined the statistics.
Some Local Authorities MAY have studied their local statistic

Study ?

Possibly many.

Bottom line ... has it led to anything ?

Seems like the 2018 Survey is in course ... according to CUK FaceAche.

Spotted one reference to foodbanks , perhaps old fashioned paper surveys will be made available.

Needless to add , those 100,000 or so who had to use foodbanks during 2017 are hardly to have surplus monies to invest in a computer and Internet access ? Without a few hundred of those completing the Survey , said results will be flawed ?

Hopefully , a few more of OUR recommendations as posted earlier will appear ... especially on housing ?

As a former carer , only limited responses ... no other way unless CUK take on the former as well as the current carer army.

Only one oddity ... submission for the Carers Strategy already published ... the words CART and HORSES spring to mind.

After perusing the results ... finances and ( Non ) support in particular ... a revision to the CS submission ?

ALL READING THIS POST ARE RECOMMENDED TO TAKE THE TIME TO COMPLETE THE 2018 SURVEY !!!

7,000 odd last year , 10.000 odd this year ? ... shouldn't be difficult ... with 6.5 million carers ???

Any plans for old fashioned paper ones to be made available this year , Susie ?

Even some stickers pointing carers to the online survey would not go amiss in , say , the local library ( Main focus point for Internet access here in Worksop ) , local hospitals / gp surgeries / foodbanks ?

Perhaps , in the future , both Carers Uk and the Carers Trust would do a joint survey ... thus maximising the exposure , and produce a more reflective snapshot of what's left alive in CarerLand ?

No need to comment on that last thought !

No idea on your first question Chris - I'll ask Michael to check though.

Thanks Susie ... dates back to my first posting on page one.

Age old problem of carers being excluded purely because of them having no computer and / or Internet access.

Solve that and the ( My ) 10,000 odd target for this year's Survey WILL be reached !

Two questions didn't work properly, Q34 and 45 asked for three main things to be highlighted, but only one accepted. Real shame that it wasn't tested properly before launching.
