HI GUY'S,

SOME OF YOU MAY REMEMBER THAT I POSTED A ADD REGARDING FREE BUS TRAVEL FOR THOSE ON INCOME SUPPORT SOME TIME AGO.....AND THAT I WAS WRITTING TO THE LONDON MAYOR FOR RESPONSE INTO WHY CARER'S ARE NOT AFFORDED THE SAME RIGHT'S. WELL TODAY I GOT A REPLY (WELL IF YOU CAN CALL IT THAT) BUT I NOW HAVE A POINT OF CONTACT SO ANY IDEA'S WILL BE WELCOME BEFORE I REPLY.

COPY BELOW OF WHAT I RECIEVED BACK:

Thank you for your email. Due to the high volumes on enquiries received by the Mayor, I've been asked to respond on his behalf. I’m sorry it has taken this long for you to receive a response.

Free travel for the carers of the disabled is a matter for London Councils who provide the free travel permits for the disabled. Transport for London has made it clear that if London Councils are willing to provide passes for carers, we will accept them.

I suggest you get in contact with London Councils for further information on the details as follows;
