Might have completely mis-read the gov 10 website, but as far I can see there is only ONE petition on the Government website relating to Carers, which is poorly worded, grammatically incorrect, spelling atrocious and doesn't clearly spell out Carers needs. I'm pretty certain that if I was David Cameron or Nick Clegg I would ignore it.
A lot of carers signed a petition to save DLA & AA over 20,000 signatures but Gordon Brown ignored it!!!
I have just had a look at the No 10 site;
Can you provide a link?N0 10
Existing e-petitions, submitted to the previous administration, will not be carried forward to the new administration as part of this process. E-petitions that were live at the time of the election announcement on 6 April, when the e-petitions system was suspended, will therefore not be reopened for signatures. We will respond to e-petitions that had exceeded the 500 signature threshold as of 6 April 2010.
There are a couple of petitions on the go independently. Not strictly about carers but DLA which will impact on carers ...

You could do this one
Contact your MP and ask him/her to sign the EDM 128 for CARERS

PS, why worry about spelling I actually admire someone who makes the effort !!!
