FAMILIES with disabled children can expect to receive more help and support with the launch of a new campaign.

Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Primary Care Trust (HMR PCT) has signed up to the Every Disabled Child Matters (EDCM) charter meaning specific help will be given to the fifth of families across the borough who have disabled children.

I wrote to my MP about this ages ago.

It took her over a month to respond, which was to copy me a letter from the Minister.

I had to check the website to find out she was as useless as usual and has not signed the EDM.

It is very rarely that I contact her, but everyone I know who has done so has had equally poor or evasive service. She behaves as though she is in a safe seat.
