Hello there

My name is Clare and I am the press and publications officer at UK charity Action for M.E.

We are hearing from a number of people with M.E. who, despite being chronically ill themselves, also find themselves in the role of carer for an unwell spouse or elderly parent.

We would like to cover this topic in our quarterly members' magazine, InterAction. Do you have any advice or experience to share about being a carer when you are unwell yourself?

It would be very helpful to know what your condition is and how you cope with both your illness and your caring role.

If you would like to contribute, but would prefer not to post here, please email interaction@actionforme.org.uk. Please let me know if you would prefer to remain anonymous.

Thank you very much.
