Hi everyone. I hope you are well. I’m Jane and I work at Carers UK. You may welcome some more support on navigating the social care system.
Our Being heard - self-advocacy guides for carers are nation specific guides suggesting ways to communicate effectively with professionals and providing some key sources of support to help navigate the system whether you’re trying to access benefits, complain about a service or get some social care cover or support. The guides are available to download here: https://www.carersuk.org/help-and-advic ... -carers-uk (The England version is out of stock currently unfortunately, but we are planning to reprint this and the pdf is available in the meantime.)
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to get in touch or for any specific concerns, please email one of our advisers on advice@carersuk.org
Best wishes,
Jane
