Hi all,
I'm new here and looking for advice from anyone who can help with my situation. I will reach State Pension age in MARCH '22 and my pension forecast is about £30 less than the maximum amount due to having insufficient full contributions. I am currently receiving Carer's allowance for caring for my wife who is disabled and receiving PIP. I also get Income Support. My wife is younger than me, so is not at State Pension age, so I am not eligible for Pension Credit. Also, because of my wife being younger, she is not eligible for Attendance allowance.
So, it seems that Income Support will stop, Carer's Allowance will stop and I will just be able to get my reduced State pension, meaning that we will be about £50 per week worse off. Surely we can't be expected to continue with so much less income? Any help or advice will be much appreciated.
