Hospital don't believe it NO MASKS. - Carers UK Forum

Hospital don't believe it NO MASKS.

Guidance on coronavirus and a place to share concerns and support
i live near our hospital, was walking to the shop past the hospital gates, saw a patient in her hospital pyjamas come out the main entrance to see her family, hugging , kissing and everything.

She could bring corona out to them or they could give the patient Corona, in turn spread it around the hospital to other vulnerable patients.

I read about nursing homes with all the precautions and the hospital does this.

As Victor Meldrew says, I don't believe it.
There is just no end to the sheer stupidity and selfishness of people, there is nothing that they can't resist doing to further their own pleasure, be it holidays, pubs, parties or just general socialising.

Unthinking brain-dead morons, every last one of them.
I bet she snuck out on the pretext of going to the toilet or for a smoke, so irresponsible. My friends husband had an elective operation recently - he had to self isolate for a fortnight before his operation.

People think they are immune - we have a local lockdown and are no longer able to have visitors in our homes or gardens - next door has visitors as normal - they even have family members constantly coughing!! I despair on the stupidity and selfishness of people.

I don't believe it either..

Its madness!

That's just not on what your neighbours are doing. I would find that so unnerving to hear someone next door constantly coughing! The police are hardly going to come even if you call them are they.

I really am feeling so cross that all these selfish people have gone to pubs and on holiday...causing the upsurge in cases.

Feel so powerless

The UK government is just standing by and allowing it to happen.

As for track and trace...its a disgrace..
I have been taking caree's to hospital for years, its no smoking but you see loads in wheelchairs outside, sitting smoking and the odd doctor hiding around the corners as well.
So they were pretty easy on smokers, they did offer free stop smoking help, patches etc , but i don't know whats happening now.

My wife is ill and i have immune system issues and we live near a big hospital, it's good because its convenient, but there are dozens of staff in and out every day, are they taking proper precautions?
I see people coming out with uniforms on and no masks, are they spreading this Corona?

They might claim they don't work in that part of the hospital is it all sealed off? i don't know.

Very worried and scared.

I wouldn't be worried about the Doctors having a sneaky nicotine fix.

Many decades past I worked evenings in a pub very close to the Royal Free Hospital in Grays Inn Road,we had loads of medical staff in there of an evening, all carrying their bleepers (no mobile phones then) cos they were on call.

Even closer than the Royal Free was the GPO's Mount Pleasant sorting office, that was a real eye opener into the infamous "Spanish Practices"

It amazes me how she ever got past security?

For a start, staff can get accused with criminal negligence because this is a kind of self discharge.

Don't be fooled....there are cameras everywhere and round the clock surveillance. It is easier to get in and out of Fort Knox I would imagine.

I travel late at night and often see women going into a petrol station wearing pyjamas and slippers. Even that takes a second look. Outside a hospital it is beyond belief. I am not saying that I do not believe you...I can believe anything nowadays....the world is crazy and that is ME talking...lol
