To think this is just the early days

Bachman Turner Overdrive ... " You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet " ... springs to mind ... briefly , thankfully.

That milkman ... I have heard that he may need a license to carry anything other than milk !

( Perhaps having someone riding shotgun helps ? )

The boy who cried wolf ... a whole pack of them heading our way ?

Carers are all crying wolf ... trouble is , is everyone else deaf ?

I haven't seen it but ... 8.5 million carers ... how many on that list of theirs ... either directly or , by association , indirectly.

One carer , one caree ... no need to repeat myself ... anyone can do the maths as to how many are at risk.

Spelt out earlier in this thread.

Thankfully , many of the mutual aid groups are simply asking ... " Shout if you need help ! " ... list or no bloody list !!!

Thanks for that, I have found the nearest group to me but it's a closed Facebook group so I can't message them. Is this a group of volunteers that would be able to shop for my dad?
When you look at the Facebook page, there should be a *Join* button, just click on that and you'll get to join the group, and be able to ask for some local assistance. Joining won't be instant, you'll have to check back later (or look at *Notifications if you already use Facebook).
