    Carers UK has produced a briefing on the Coronavirus Act 2020 and what it means for carers – detailed briefing on the health and care provisions. This briefing sets out the main measures in the Coronavirus Act 2020 that affect carers and Carers UK’s view. It covers all four nations; England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland does not have any specific measures relating to social care law as their legislation is framed differently, but they will be seeking alignment.

    Carers UK briefing: the Coronavirus Bill and what it means for unpaid carers

    Carers UK have produced two briefings, the first of which sets out how millions of unpaid carers and the people they care for across the UK will be affected by the emergency Coronavirus Bill 2019-21 that the Government are introducing, as it attempts to tackle the Coronavirus crisis. The second briefing provides further detail about the health and care provisions in the bill.
