About you

You will be an expert in delivering policy, public and external affairs work with experience of leading teams and getting your cause noticed. You will be skilled at building relationships, in Westminster and beyond, practised in analysing research and adept at putting the facts forward. In addition, you will enjoy being a media spokesperson and thrive at championing your cause.

With over 6.5 million unpaid carers in the UK and 6,000 individuals becoming a carer every day the need to support them is growing and urgent. Unpaid carers save the country an estimated £132 billion each year and are vital to the friends and family members they support, as well as to the wider community.

Established in 1965, Carers UK has a long heritage of making life better for carers, wherever they may be, through providing advice, information and support, pioneering innovation and the creation of a workplace best practice forum, Employers for Carers (EfC). With over 21,000 members Carers UK is the voice of unpaid carers in the UK.
