About the role

The Fundraising Assistant is vital to the smooth running of the fundraising team, being responsible for recording all voluntary income, including reconciling events and community income. The post holder is also responsible for ongoing stewardship of donors, ensuring thank you letters are sent and all follow up done quickly and professionally. Working with the finance team the post holder will lead on reconciliation of income, and be generating reports where need.

As part of a small team the fundraising assistant will also support the team members with their day to day activities, and will take a lead on legacy planning.

About you

You will love databases! You will be a team player and thrive in an environment that means your day to day work is varied. You may already work for a charity, or be looking to join the sector. You will be numeric, a people person able to write engaging letters to supporters and will also be good at problem solving. You will definitely relish juggling conflicting priorities, and delivering for the team.
