Heléna's Carers Week Ben Lomond Climb

by Fiona Collie 05 June 2015

This year, Chief Executive Heléna Herklots will be taking on a personal challenge, as part of Carers UK's 50th Anniversay, to help raise vital funds to make life better for carers.

2015 will see Heléna climb 50 hills, one for each of our 50 years. The hills vary in size – some small and fairly easy to overcome, others are tougher and a big test of strength and determination. Much like caring..

Having climbed Calton Hill in Edinburgh earlier in the year, Heléna is taking on her biggest challenge to date.  She will climb Ben Lomond on Saturday, 13 June 2015 with Carers Scotland colleagues and carers.

Ben Lomond is a “Munro” – a Scottish mountain over 3000 feet, not a walk in the park!  She is hoping for some good weather for the day.
