by Fiona Collie 27 November 2014

Focusing on the emotional and physiological impact of caring for someone with a lifelong condition, we are offering two free development sessions to provide you with the knowledge and information to help you improve your approach to life and to cope with any negative effects of caring.

The two development sessions will cover:

• The links between your body and brain
• The emotional and physiological effects of music, language and exercise
• Emotional Intelligence – how to identify, regulate, and manage your positive and negative emotions
• Your choices, decision making processes and how to best self manage your situation

Our two sessions will be held on:

Thursday the 4th December 2014, 10am – 3pm and Thursday 26th February 2015, 10am – 3pm - ASH Scotland, 8 Frederick Street, Edinburgh EH2 2HB

Sessions will include videos, activities, presentations and discussions. Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. Sessions will also be attended by individuals affected by autoimmune liver disease Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC).
