Carers Equalities and Employment – Improving delivery through partnership working' was a joint event was held on 12 October 2011 by ADASS, Health and Social Care Partnership South East and Carers UK
The aim of this event was for each Local Authority in the South East Region of England to work in partnership with health and voluntary care to improve the delivery of the Carers Equalities and Employment agenda. Guests from other parts of England were invited to share their knowledge. The day looked at equalities issues for councils and health both as employers and as commissioners of services.
