Carers UK is part of the Disability Benefits Consortium. To help the Government better understand the impact changes to benefits will have on disabled people we are doing a quick survey to find out people's experiences of the current system.

The Government has announced its intention to refresh the National Carers Strategy and put together an action plan for the next five years.

Lynda Wisbach, one of Carers UK's trustees since November 2006, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 28th July at home surrounded by her family. She had been battling Motor Neurone Disease for the last two years.

It will take about 10 minutes to complete the survey, which is available to complete in English or Welsh, and which you complete anonymously. The survey will be open from Thursday 17 June 2010 to Saturday 31 July 2010.

A delegation of carers has delivered a strong message to the new Prime Minister to coincide with Carers Week.
