Join the Carers UK Rob Roy Challenge 2016 team!
The Rob Roy Challenge launched in 2006 and has enabled over 5,500 hardy souls to battle the Scottish wilderness and raise almost £3 million for a number of worthy charities.
This year Carers UK has place available and we’d love for you to join us.
The Rob Roy Challenge takes place on 18 June 2016. You can choose to walk, or for the brave souls there is the combined walk and cycle – which challenge will you choose?
We also encourage friends and family to come along to support challengers at Kenmore and to enjoy the Rob Roy Challenge Festival weekend. For more information click here.
There are 4 different challenge options to choose from:
Rob Roy Ramble – 16 miles
A 16 mile ramble along the Rob Roy Way, following in the footsteps of the man himself.
MacGregor’s Leap – 31 miles
A 16 mile hike followed by a 15 mile cycle via the ancient village of Fortingall, perfect if you fancy a bit more of a challenge.
Big Red – 51 miles
For those of you who are after a slightly tougher test of stamina, then this 16 mile hike followed by a 35 mile cycle could be the route for you.
Schiehallion’s Shadow – 72 miles
Not one for the faint hearted, this is a 16 mile hike followed by a leg trembling 56 mile cycle.
Can you take on the challenge?
