So I am feeling very nervous and anxious with only such a short amount of time to go! I am feeling very strong at the moment with my training and am so happy I beat my personal best at Reading Half on 22 March.

I started off with my ‘marathon and training team’ (and best friends at the moment Faye, Colin and Lee) but the crazy amount of people running this half and my desire to run a fast pace (mostly under 8min/mile) I lost them after about 2 miles.

LM15Lousie5I was so happy with 1 hour 46 minutes and felt so happy to cross the finish line as I was exhausted. I know for the marathon I will need to slow down as that pace was way too fast (and I can’t maintain that for 26.2 miles!).

My sponsorship is much better than it was than last month – after a few emails to all the staff at school; sponsors have been slowly flooding in. I am now about £400 away from my target which is amazing.

Tomorrow Faye and I are running 22miles – we are feeling a bit nervous, but we did the same route 2 weeks ago and did 20 miles so it should be fine. It is just scary that we only have 2 more long runs and then tapering left.

I am feeling quite tired at the moment and there have been some days where I just want to go home and not run. I am however really determined and focused, so I am really glad I am doing this because, even though it has been physically and mentally challenging, it is probably will be one of my greatest achievements.
