Carers Week is the largest UK-wide annual awareness campaign for carers. 
This year, Carers Week will take place from 18 to 24 June and the theme is 'In Sickness & in Health'.
During Carers Week, over 1,200 local partners organise more than 5,000 events and activities throughout the UK to highlight the huge impact and contribution that carers make, to raise awareness about the need for access to better support and services, to identify 'hidden carers', and to encourage local organisations to work together to promote recognition, support and services for carers.
Carers Week is a partnership of 8 national charities:

- Carers Trust
- Independent Age
- Macmillan Cancer Support
- Marie Curie Cancer Care
- MS Society
- Parkinson's UK
Carers Week supports every organisation – however large or small – that wants to take part in a variety of ways, including:
- Photos for publicity materials
- Template press releases
- Regular E-newsletters with updates and information
- Celebrity pictures and quotes for use locally
- Regional results from the national Carers Week survey
There will also be some free downloadable materials for Carers Week 2012.
