We've had a request from BBC. They are doing a show on hidden charges in the NHS - ie car parking, food etc.
They want someone who is currently struggling with these extra expenses and want to follow them and interview them, so it needs to be someone currently caring for someone in hospital or having very regular trips in for treatement.
Do you have to make regular trips to the hospital? is it costing you a fortune? Would you be willing to be interviewed in the media?
If you're interested can you call Steve McIntosh who is Media and Campaigns assistant at Carers UK. 020 7378 4937 or email Steve.McIntosh@carersuk.org
As usual they want someone yesterday so this is only likely to be relevent for the next couple of days.
Thanks
Matt
