New resource for Alzheimer carers

A new booklet offering practical advice and support for those caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease has been published.

The booklet 'Caring for the Carers of Alzheimer's Disease ' is available free by calling 01 468 9800.

It is produced by Lundbeck Ireland in conjunction with the Carers Association of Ireland.

Ther are almost 40,000 people in Ireland with Alzheimer's Disease and related disorders and 50,000 people caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease/dementia.
