New and feel alone

Postby stephen wood » Fri Aug 03, 2012 6:45 pm

Hello well thats a start and who knows where to start.

I have been a carer for a very long time and also work but of late all is becoming to much and have no idea of what or where things are going.

My wife has server MS. and is completely wheelchair dependent and in saver pain.
My company in full knowledge of my situation transferred me to a site with a minimum of 2 hours travel each way a year ago now i am being ground down with fatigue and tiredness,
As so many is similar situations find friends and family long gone and do suffer loneliness so miss living life and comfort of sharing. The feeling of guilt i get for feeling what i miss so, hurts and i am the well one in this place.

Well thats my lot and i know so many here have there own horrors to live with and perhaps hope for some of the same things to be able to chat and share things with others who know this horrid situation.

thanks for an ear and am always here abouts for chat or whatever, Steve.

Hello Steve.

Try not to feel guilty. As others will tell you, it is due to the pressure and stress which you are under.

How on earth you have managed to cope with the extra travelling, I do not know.

The medics told me to watch my health, otherwise I would become very seriously ill myself.

Easy for them to say.

Hi Steve and welcome. My oh has advanced MS too. My work place dumped on me so I dumped them. Sometimes something has to give and it wasn't going to be me so don't let it be you either.
