No longer a carer

For anyone who is bereaved or no longer providing care.
Hi all. I haven't been here for a while.

Mum died this morning.
Hi Koala

Sorry to hear about your mum. I hope it was peaceful for her.
I'm so sorry to hear your sad news, Koala.
Sending hugs.

So very sorry to hear your news Koala; my sincere condolences on the loss of your Mum.
However much one 'knows' it's going to happen, however much warning and preparation you think you've made, when it happens, it's like a bolt from heaven, devastating and unbelievable.

I hope, as the others say too, that it was peaceful for her, and that you had time to say to her what you wanted to say.

It's far too raw now, I know, but she is released from the belagured body and mind that was beseiging her, released out of time's prison, and into the freedom of eternity.

"Our tears are our tribute" -

Kindest regards, at such a painful, heart stricken time - Jenny
Koala - I've just registered the heading of your thread. You say 'No longer a carer' - but that isn't so. You are the carer of her memory, and the guardian of your love for her, and the love she had for you......
