Compassion in Politics

I've started a new campaign on Facebook for compassion to be in politics.
As part of this, I'm trying to raise awareness of carers too (being one myself).
I am writing to MPs but who else? Do you know who else to approach?

Your support is appreciated!

Hi

Have you considered the House of Lords and Local Authority councillors?

I have 'liked' the facebook page and will share it as much as I can

Thanks Jacqui for your support. I did write to someone at the House of Lords but not heard back - will keep trying. Hadn't thought about local councillors but will do so. Thanks for your idea!

Thanks Simon_1501 :)
Carer's Allowance is hardly enough. Caring service should be recognised in pensions, housing and the whole Welfare State. And to carers who have finished physical care duties. Cause there is no finish point caring. Think of the parents who are caring for their son or daughter serving in the forces. Carers should not be included in the Bedroom Tax.
Maybe the care quality commission? They may take an interest or pass it on to appropriate person. Xx
