Most of us will look after an elderly relative, sick partner or a disabled family member at some point. Caring is part of life but without the right support the personal costs of caring can be high.
The course, which takes place over two morning sessions, will offer tips and techniques that will improve carers’ health and wellbeing, and help them gain more control over their own lives.
Based on a very successful model developed by Arthritis Care, the course is open to anyone who cares for someone with a long-term condition, not just arthritis.
This pilot course is free to carers. Thanks to funding from the Atlantic Philanthropies, we are able to reimburse alternative care costs to enable carers to attend.

16th and 23rd February 2012, from 10am to 1pm, finishing with a sandwich lunch (Participants must attend both sessions)
