The Carers Manifesto, produced, in consultation with carers, by the Wales Carers Alliance, is calling on all the political parties to continue improving the lives of carers. We are calling on the new Welsh Assembly Government to:
- Protect funding for social care and develop good quality, flexible and affordable care services across Wales for the people that carers look after.
- Ensure carers get time off from caring.
- Protect and promote equality and human rights for carers.
