Carers Workers Network
Carers Wales will be holding a Carers Workers Network meeting on Tuesday 1st November 10am – 3.30pm at the Shaw Trust Action Centre (DAC), Llandarcy, Neath.
The Network has been running in various formats for the past 9 years. Recently we consulted with participants to review the effectiveness and format of the meetings. Following consultation we have made amendments in line with recommendations made to us on the format of the meetings.
The meeting is open to representatives from local authorities and the voluntary sector who’s main remit is working with carers.
At the next meeting there will be a presentation on the Mental Health (Wales) Measure by Hafal’s National Policy Co-ordinator, as well as an update on latest information and formation of sub-groups to take forward any key issues that arise.
