What are our courses about?
We offer over 30 courses on subjects such as community care law, carers' rights, benefits, advocacy and challenging decisions. Courses are run at our training suite in central London or we can put on a course at a venue of your choice and tailor the training to your organisation's specific requirements. Who are they for?
Our courses are aimed at a wide range of health and social care professionals, advice workers, employers, lawyers and others who work with carers.
Making our courses count
Our training is accredited by The Institute of Legal Executives and The Solicitors Regualtion Authority (formerly the Law Society) . Our legal courses qualify for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours. Trainees attending legal courses can claim up to 5 hours for a one-day course as shown in the individual course outlines and 2.5 hours for a half-day course. Carers UK courses also count toward the General Social Care Council requirements for post-registration training for all registered social workers.
